Gascogne Papier (formerly “Papeteries de Gascogne”) was founded in 1925 by foresters to find a market for maritime pine by-products and promote the sustainable development of the Landes de Gascogne forest (maintenance and reforestation).
The integrated factory, located in Mimizan in the Landes area of France, produces pulp and natural unbleached Kraft paper on four specialised paper machines. Since 2009, Gascogne Papier has been developing a new range of coated technical papers with multiple applications using a high-tech coating unit at its production site.
Gascogne Papier’s strong local attachment and contribution to local economic development have helped it become an incredibly successful company. Its diversification strategy for its PAPER activity led to the creation of a large group in the Wood – Paper – Packaging sector: the GASCOGNE group.

FEUTRES DEPLAND, in Saint-Junien near Limoges, has been part of the Gascogne Group’s paper activity since 1989. It manufactures specific custom products for paper, board and tissue production, using wool and synthetic materials: Press Section Felts; Drying Wires; Marking, glazing and speciality Felts.
